About You
As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- strong classroom management & student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

St John Bosco Primary School is situated at Engadine, in the Sutherland Shire, approximately 40 kilometres south of Sydney. The school was established by the Salesian Sisters in 1959 and is a faith community of staff, parents, students and Church. Our educational system is based on the philosophy and methods of St John Bosco, which hinges on the three-fold approach of reason, religion and loving kindness. As a Newman Selective Gifted Education school our expectations are high as we cater for the individual learning needs of our students.
