Role Description/Criteria

St Bernadette's School is seeking a motivated and dedicated teacher to join our school community as a Classroom Teacher - Year 5 (FTE 1.0). The position is a Leave replacement position for the 2026 school year, beginning on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
Applicants are required to have:
- a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and to Catholic Education
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (desired)
- recent success and experience as a classroom teacher/leader
- current VIT registration, inclusive of a Criminal Record check
- a strong commitment to Child Safety and Wellbeing Standards and a commitment to the emotional and educational wellbeing of students.
