Classroom Teacher 2026

St Mary's is seeking a classroom teacher, including a graduate to be welcomed into our flourishing community for 2026 or earlier by negotiation.

Applications are invited for a classroom teacher, including a graduate for 2026. A full time contract is available with the possibility of an ongoing position. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new graduate to begin their teaching career in a supportive and vibrant environment.

Graduate teachers will be supported throughout the DOBCEL Graduate teacher program.

Financial incentives provided for removal costs and remote allowance. (DOBCEL Small and Remote Schools Incentive scheme)

Successful applicants must have:

• current VIT Registration
• the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning
• appropriate qualifications, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the necessary curriculum to a range of educational abilities.
• a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
• a commitment to Faith education in the context of a Catholic School education
• support the Catholic ethos of the school
• accreditation to teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to undertake this)
• accreditation to teach RE (or working towards)
