What you'll be doing
As a Child and Family Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessment and therapy interventions for children up to 8 years of age, helping them achieve their developmental potential and improve participation in daily activities.
- Identify, assess, and treat children with neurological, developmental, or motor difficulties
- Deliver individual, group, and educational interventions to children, families, and carers
- Maintain accurate client and program documentation and prepare reports where required
- Provide guidance and education to parents, preschools, schools, and other agencies
- Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and clinical research initiatives

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Qualifications: Recognised Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
Selection Criteria:
- Recognised Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
- Demonstrated experience in providing Paediatric Occupational Therapy services.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with families to provide effective intervention for children within a limited session model.
- Experience working effectively with families from differing psychosocial, socioeconomic and /or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a community setting.
- Highly developed and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to use a range of computer based applications
