Calamvale Special School are seeking applications for a permanent full-time Business Manager to join their school community.
As the Business Manager, you will actively participate in team decisions and lead HR on a strategic level as well as daily school operations. You will manage the delivery of these services and ensure the services provided support the educational management activities of a school. Whilst the position focus is HR you will also support the general administration of the school and work in collaboration with the Business Manager A06.

About the Role
As Business Manager HR your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing leadership in the delivery of human resources within the context of the schools strategic plan
Undertaking the day-to-day supervision and management of school support staff, including monitoring workloads and performance (working in collaboration with the Business Manager and Principal)
Identifying workforce capability requirements; and role modelling performance standards.
Providing a comprehensive range of administrative support (e.g., preparation of reports, and correspondence) and identify problems, conduct research, seek expert advice and recommend solutions.
Supporting staff with work cover as return to work coordination
Training and support will be provided to ensure capability across the role.
