Business Analyst

IDS Major Digital and ICT Programs

  • Location – Parramatta with access to hybrid work arrangements
  • Employment type – Temporary full-time up to 12 months with possibility of extension
  • Grade – Clerk Grade 7/8
  • Salary – $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa plus employers’ contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, uncover opportunities for improvement and help shape effective solutions. Your insights will contribute to smarter ways of working and better outcomes for the organisation and the communities we serve.

What you’ll do

You will play a key role in supporting projects and initiatives that strengthen service delivery and improve organisational outcomes by:

  • Contributing to the design and implementation of tools and processes
  • Researching and analysing best-practice approaches to improve efficiency and measure outcomes
  • Participating in reviews of business unit strategies
  • Providing proactive, evidence-based advice to leaders and the Director
  • Preparing briefs, policy papers and discussion papers for Ministerial, Cabinet or DCJ responses
  • Liaising across DCJ divisions and with external stakeholders to support effective program design and policy implementation
