St Michael’s Primary School is situated in Traralgon located 2 hours from Melbourne's CBD on the M1 and 2 hours to the lakes region along the south coast of Victoria. Amble along the wide tree-lined streets, beautiful gardens and spacious parklands of Gippsland's largest city. Located in the Latrobe Valley, on the Princes Highway (M1), Traralgon lies at the intersection of many a Gippsland adventure. Sport is a big deal in Traralgon, and the city plays host to a number of netball, AFLW and AFL events throughout the year. About the role

St Michael's Primary School is an inclusive, inviting and team orientated workplace. The current enrolment is 447 students from Foundation to Grade 6. A comprehensive Specialist program includes, LOTE, Digital Technologies, Sport, STEM and an inspiring Visual Arts Program. Our classrooms provide the latest resources and IT infrastructure.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for the position of Administration Officer – Finance to commence on 20th April 2026. This is an Education Support Employee Category B Level 2 position under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education, along with a clear dedication to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children.

They will possess appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience, show enthusiasm and capability across a broad range of finance and administrative functions, and be able to provide effective support to the Principal while upholding and respecting the school’s ethos and community.

Appointment to the role will be subject to a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check. First Aid training is desirable but not essential.
