The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and detail-orientated administration assistant to join us for a 12-months full time fixed term contract (parental leave cover).You will report to and work closely with the Director of Teaching and Learning to coordinate key curriculum-related administration including internal and external assessments, testing and examinations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide general administrative and organisational support to the Director of Teaching and Learning
- Support processes and communication related to reporting, assessment, parent teacher interviews and assessment templates
- Data entry of VCE results, coordinate class lists and student information reviews for accuracy and collection of student reports.
- Manage the administration of student annualised standardised testing (NAPLAN, Allwell, PAT and any other external assessment)
- Coordinate Senior School examinations ensuring smooth operation
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in administrative roles with strong track record of reliability and efficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to stay task focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across diverse groups
- Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to improve processes and practices
- Strong work ethics and proactive approach to tasks
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams).
