Waverley College invites applications for a Head of House to start in Term 1, 2026. The role reports to the Deputy Principal - Students and Director of Student Wellbeing. It works closely with the Director of Junior School, Director of Identity & Global Advocacy, Director of Co-curricular, other Heads of House, and Heads of Department. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of House Mentors and work collaboratively with staff across the College to enhance student wellbeing and formation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and mentoring the House team to provide exceptional pastoral care and student support
• Building strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
• Supporting student development and formation for Years 5 through 12
• Contributing to the design and delivery of the Wellbeing Curriculum and related programs
• Promoting faith formation and spiritual growth within the College community
• Ensuring compliance with College policies while providing effective administration and leadership

• Proven leadership skills in student wellbeing or pastoral care roles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and faith-based school culture
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and care
• A passion for mentoring young people and supporting their growth holistically
