The study of History in Years 7-10 develops students’ interest in, and enjoyment of, historical study. Students develop informed and disciplined historical understanding through key historical concepts including sources, evidence, continuity and change, cause and effect, perspectives, empathy, significance and contestability. They use historical inquiry skills to research and interpret events, developments and issues over time.
